Cue the sultry music for this post, gang!
Today I’m featuring Kelly, a stunning woman I photographed in her home in Greenwood, Indiana. This boudoir session was particularly special, as this was for a gift.
As you can see, Kelly is incredibly beautiful, but looks aren’t the only thing she’s got going on. Kelly is a nurse practitioner.
Even though she was a little nervous before our shoot (who wouldn’t be?), Kelly was able to relax pretty quickly and we got some gorgeous shots. This is what Kelly had to say, “Lisa was great, makes you feel comfortable.”
She brought lots of variety different outfits for the session and each looked amazing on her.
Since we had such an amazing shoot, I asked Kelly to share a little bit of advice for others who may want to have a boudoir session in the future. Here’s what she had to say: “Do it, it’s fun and makes you feel great to see how lighting, makeup and positional advantages can enhance your body.”
That’s definitely solid advice!
No more talking – let’s get to the pictures!
Hi again, blog readers!
Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That’s true of my session with the Anderson family, too!
I met up with them a beautiful morning at Appleworks and the weather was perfect for photo-taking. While the weather was fine, it was the Anderson family that made this shoot such a joy.
The Anderson family consists of Amy and Justin and their three beautiful children (Quentin, CeJay and Ava).
“There are so many things we like doing together but I would have to say our favorite is card games,” says Amy.
As you can see from the comments above and the photos below, this family is not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly love spending time together. Amy, Justin, Quentin, CeJay and Ava are lucky to have each other.
Amy has a few words of wisdom for families getting ready for pictures, “Go with the flow! If things don’t go perfect that’s okay. Your still going to get some great pictures of your family and that’s what matters.”
By the way, I am loving Amy’s outfit from Younique Culture! The rest of the family looks stunning with their outfits from Old Navy.
Hope you enjoy the pictures!
Ooh la la!
Today I have a very special boudoir blog post for you. It features Jacquelynn, a stunning woman who was an absolute pleasure to photograph. As you can see, she is extremely photogenic.
We had a great hotel room for her session! Her hair was done by me and makeup done by Britney Cordray, who did an impeccable job.
Once Jacquelynn was finished getting pampered and perfected, we began the shoot. She brought 3 changes of clothing for the session and I loved them all. Her black robe from Victoria Secrets was sexy and beautiful. But my favorite was her wearing her husband’s Bit & Bridle flannel shirt and Syngenta baseball cap.
We talked beforehand, and decided to go for a elegant but sexy vibe for this shoot. I definitely think we were able to capture that!
When asking Jacquelynn her biggest fear, she said “My biggest fear was my body size as I have lost a few pounds I wasn’t quite where I wanted to be. Lisa was great helping me feel beautiful with every inch of my body.”
“My favorite part was feeling beautiful and being myself”, said Jacquelynn.
Jacquelynn three words to describe her experience were, “Fun, Beautiful, and Relaxed”.
Jacquelynn was so sweet to leave us this comment on her experience, “I highly recommend Lisa and will book her again for pictures! She’s worth the time, because she truly cares and does and amazing job! Also, she is really fast at getting back to you with your edited pictures!!”
I’m glad to hear she had such a positive experience!
Without further adieu, the sultry Jacquelynn!
Oh how I just adore the family I’m blogging about today. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve been photographing the Gettle family for a few years now! I truly can’t believe how much the children have grown and changed since I first met them.
And, it goes without saying, Donna and Dusty have become some of my dearest friends over time! It’s hard to not become friends with someone like Donna, who is sweet and caring. Dad and husband Dusty is just as great!
When Donna called me to take their photos again, I immediately began counting down the days to our session!
And as for the day of the shoot, I had a blast! They had a pretty good time too.
“Lisa does an amazing job!! She has wonderful ideas for pictures! She works well with the whole family and captures the most wonderful pictures and memories!”, say Donna Gettle.
When deciding on their amazing outfits, Donna and I discussed color themes and then went from there. Don’t they look amazing!
Okay, enough text. Check out the fabulous Gettle family!
